After the grammar issue and the words are thought,teacher says that today we will play a game.For this

 game,teacher divides the class into two groups and brings box and pictures to class.Teacher puts the 

pictures to wall so students can remember the householdchores.After teacher divides the class in two groups

 he put some pictures into the box about the householdchores.One by one teacher calls a students and wants

 them to select a picture from the box.After student selects the picture he\she acts in front of the class and

 students try to predict the picture.Game goes on like that.In the end the group that knows most wins the 

game.

Unit: 7 Likes and Dislikes

Grade: 5

Aims:

Students will be able to memorize the vocabulary items about the fruits and vegetables.
They will be able to pronounce them correctly.
These games improve their vocabulary knowledge.

Game 1:

Teacher says they will play a game, and starts to explain how to play it. Teacher says a sentence slike that “ I like apples” and she wants the next student to continue the sentence adding a different vegetable or fruit. For example, this student continues like that “ I like apples and oranges” . This game goes on . Each student adds a different word. It continues until one of the students make a mistake.

Game 2:

Teacher enters the class with the pictures of the fruits and vegetables. (oranges , apples, bananas, onions, carrots, ice cream, banana, cake, strawberries  etc) She says they will play a game, sos he divides student into two groups. She sticks the pictures to the board. One student from each group comes to the board. Teacher swants one of them to look at the board carefully . Then the student turns back and the teacher takes one of the pictures. The student tries to know what is missing? If the student knows what is missing, his /her group takes the plus.

Game 1 Shopping list

Teacher divides the students into four group and gives them a poster for each group. Teacher wants them to prepare a shopping list. They all prepare a list. Then they put the list on the board. First member of the first group asks the first member of the second group if she likes the first food or not. If she likes, they put a tick on the food. These activity goes on like this and the group who has lus the most win

Game 2 Guessing

Teacher asks them think about which food they like most ( they choose the foods from the pictures on the board) and she divides them into peers. One of them guesses what his friend likes most and he she has 3 chances to know.

Activity : guessing the  words

            Teacher  presents the slideshow to make students’ schemata active  .  After  presentation ,  teacher makes students groups and  she asks them to  take a paper. She  shows the  picture of any  job , then students try  to write its name on the paper and they raise their papers. Each group pronounces the  words together. If they pronounce  well and  know its spelling ,  they  get the point .

Activity 2: whisper race
            Teacher  makes the class two groups . The teams  stand  in two lines with  equal distance to the board.  Teacher sticks  the pictures of the   jobs  on the board.  First  students from each group  run  and take the Picture  after teacher whispers  the name of the  job and calls ‘go’. The team taking   true and  most  pictures  wins the game .

                        The teacher presents the video .  It  helps  students to  learn  the  words  in the unit and their pronunciations with the rhythm .After  listening the  song , teacher asks what jobs  they  remember . The students   share  what they hear . Students  sing the song together
Procedure :
Activity : Info-gap

            Teacher  gives  students  info gap  worksheets. Students are asked to fill out  the song’s lyrics. While  they  are  listening the song , they fill out  the worksheets .As a result , students  learn the  words of the  unit and pronunciation  of the  words
 Production :

Activity : Write your own  song .

            This  activity makes  students   eager to use language. They  write their own songs by changing the some  parts of  the song . The class   is divided into  groups with   eight   members. That’s reason is that  everyone can  have a character  from the  song . They change the song . For example , I am   Nigel Naylor, I am  doctor  or , they can make up a  name  matched to the pronunciation of the  job . Students  prepare their  songs and  present them in front of as a song . They can use the materials the teacher brings or students  use irrelevant  objects in their performance to improve their creativiy  .

PROCEDURE
Teacher comes to the class  and greets with them.She asks the students  how they  are.The whole  class repeat the words that they have learned about farm life.Teacher warms the students to the game.
Game 1
Teacher distributes to each student one Bingo card that contains pictures of vocabulary words in each square .
Draw a random word card from a bag, and call out the vocabulary word of farm life unit on the card. Students search and mark the corresponding vocabulary pictures on their card.The game continues  until a student calls out, "Bingo!" The first student with a Bingo is the winner.

Game 2

Teacher puts students into 2 teams. She asks  the teams to write five questions they’d like to ask you using like-dslike structure.Then she asks  for a volunteer from each team to sit at the front of the class. They are going to imagine they are teacher, and spend a few minutes ‘in the teacher’s shoes’ .The teams ask their questions and the students at the front who are in teacher’s shoes must try to answer the questions as they think teacher would answer them.
Teacher decide whose response is closest to her own answer to the question and award points accordingly.

AIMS:
1)     Students will enjoy and motivate to learn by this way.
2)    They will perform the actions.
3)    They learn new vocabulary and sentences about rules.
4)    They will aware of their learning.

PRESENTATION

The teacher enters the class. After short conversation, she starts the lesson by mentioning about the songs. Then she shows some pictures which are about the classroom rules such as ‘sit down, stand up etc.’ And she says that she prepared a song for them as a surprise related with those rules.

PRACTICE

She shows them the power point presentation including the song and some pictures about classroom rules which she produced her own. They listen it twice and at the second time they sing it alltogether also. Then she gives them lyrics of this song as worksheet and wants them to fill in the blanks.

PRODUCE

She divides the class into 6 groups and gives each group an imperative sentence from the song. And wants these group to act these rules while singing when their turns come. For example; one group takes ‘knock the door’ and when the turn is on them, they’ll both sing and act it.
