5th Grade Unit 7 Likes and Dislikes Songs

Unit: 7

Grade: 5

Target Words: apple, eggs, spinach,candy, chips, eggs, cake

Materials: pictures, song, poster

Aims:




Students wil be able to improve their listening skills
Students will be able to catch the food names from the song
Students will be able to understand the meaning of foods
Students will be able to create their own song

Present
Teacher talks about the food which they have learnt last week. She asks questions and wants some students to put the pictures of food on the board

Practice
She plays the song and they all listen to song together. She plays the song again and she stops the song when they hear a food. She asks what they hear and whether they like or not.

Produce
She divides the students into three groups. She gives one poster to each group. They creates their song which includes the food and the structure of likes/dislikes and when they finish, they put them on the board. All groups sing their own song together
