Activity 1: recognizing the jobs
Materials :a song ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ORGLQudvMWE ) , slideshow(https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B2NvzGFalZyTdWFaNTktNUgxSzQ/edit?usp=sharing ), real materials.
This activity aims that students are be to learn the meaning of the
occupations from the song . They can remember the jobs in a content thanks to the
video . The video is like a warming up material . Students become eager to learn the occupations . Teacher presents the video to students . They try to
hear the words and understand the meanings of them from the content and the materials
used.After watching the video , teacher use
the slideshow . Students try to remind the occupations in the video with
this presentation and teacher
also present some extra jobs except ones
in the video.
Practice
Activity 2: guessing
the word
This activity aims that students are able to
recognize the occupations from the
Power point and tell them
in a correct way .A volunteer is chosen from the class. He doesn't look at the slideshow .
He turns to his friends.
Teacher chooses a occupation from the slideshow . Other students
try to tell the features of this occupation. At the same time , the volunteer asks
some questions to guess it’s meaning. He has two
chance to guess the right
meaning of it otherwise , he fails.

Activity 3:drawing and
explaining
Materials : color pencils , papers
This activity aims that students are able to use their creativity
and tell their favorite occupations . Teacher wants students to take a paper and color
pencils .He asks them to use their
imagination and draw themselves by
thinking what they want to be in future. Each student draws his own favorite
occupation . After drawing the
pictures , teacher firstly wants a volunteer to tell the occupation he draws with the reasons and features of
this occupation. This
student shows his Picture while telling the occupation.
The ones who want to tell their occupations can do in front of the class.
