I created my own story. It is about a monster who comes to school and it’s rude and bad behaviours in class. In the middle of the story, I’ ll ask them that ‘’what happened next, do you know? ‘’ and so they can wonder the next. Thanks to this story, they can learn the imperatives in an enjoyable way.
THE STORY
THE DAY THE MONSTER CAME TO SCHOOL

On the first day , a monster came to school! Everybody was very surprised. It was making all kinds of noise and did not sit down.It took up so much room that they had no place to sit.
It pushed ahead of everyone, grabbed a box of toys, and dumped them on the floor.
The children sat at their places, the monster started to throw the toys.
"Sit down on your desk! " said the teacher. "

The monster dropped the toys and started screaming. It screamed so loudly that no one could hear the teacher.

"listen to your teacher!" she finally said. It stopped screaming, and the teacher said, "It is time to play outside."
Everyone stood up and walked to the door. But it ran out the door without waiting for directions.
‘’Don’t run’’ teacher said to it. But it didn’t listen. It climbed up the slide the wrong way and sat at the top.So no one else could slide down. It jumped around and stepped on their toes. Later, when it was time to paint, the monster ran around the room painting big, lack lines on the children's paintings!

‘’don’t disturb your friends!’’ said the teacher angrily.
"You are a real monster! Go away and never come back!"
And do you know what happened? The monster burst into tears! Everyone was astonished.
"I'm sorry!" cried the monster.
"I've never been to school before. I did not know all those I did was against the rules. Please don't send me! I will try to learn if you will all help me."
Then the  teacher and the children believed to it and decided to make a list of rules. They would let the monster stay,if it followed the rules. The monster worked hard to learn how to behave, then soon it knew all the rules and to
‘’be respectful to teacher and friends!’’

PRE-TELLING STORY
The teacher comes in to class and after short conversation, she starts to warm up the storytelling by doing short entrance. She sticks a monster picture, students picture and teacher picture on the board and says their names in English. Then she shows five picture and tell them about what they mean. One of them tells the boy who disturbs his friends, other tells the one who runs, other sits on his desk, other is not respectful to his friends and one of them tells a group of students who listens their teacher.

WHILE- TELLING STORY
She starts to tell the story. When she comes to imperative sentences about the classroom rules, she shows the cartoon on which she writes that sentences and after she reads, she wants the students to repeat it one more time also. And while telling the other part of the story, she uses the same method, she shows the sentence cartoon and wants them to repeat.

POST-TELLING STORY
The teacher writes these rules into small papers and chooses a volunteer. Then she wants him/her to do this rule step by step and wants the others to guess what he is doing. For example; he can run inside of the class to show ‘’don’t run’’ rule and the others will say ‘’don’t run’’ to him.
