Unit 12: Seasons Weather Conditions
Language Point: Adjectives ( sunny,rainy,cloudy and snowy)
                                

1)PRESENTATION
Materials
Colorful pictures of adjectives (weather conditions) to teach their pronunciation
Aim of the activity
 Students’ attention is drawn thanks to these pictures and students will know how to pronounce the adjectives given through pictures.
Stages:
         The teacher firstly introduces weather conditions (adjectives) with the help of pictures.
         She explains the meaning of the adjectives and then show how to pronounce these by repeating many times.
         After she pronounce the words , she wants students to repeat after her to be sure adjectives are pronounce correctly.

 







2) PRACTICE
Activity : Silently mouthing
Materials
                            
Aim of the activity
                To improve students' awareness of mouth position for English sounds.
Stages
         Before the teacher starts the video , she wants students to identify words and sentences that the man in the video is mouthing silently.

         The video is watched three times.
          In the first time, the video is showed without stopping and students are expected to predict the words or sentences .
         In the second time, the teacher stops the video in certain times and asks students to say what the man has said.
          Finally, teacher shows the video loudly to control whether students make correct predictions or not.
