5th Grade Unit 7 Like Dislike

Structuring Activity:
Material: A worksheet about the foods which Sam and Mary’s like and dislikes
Aims:
1. Students learn how they make a sentence with like and dislike
2. Because they read and write the sentences after they match from the text, they improve their reading and writing skills
Procedure
1. Teacher hands out a worksheet about the foods which Sam and Mary’s likes and dislikes. There are the pictures of foods and sentences about their likes and dislikes.
2. At first, students match the sentences with foods. After 3-5 minutes, teacher asks questions such as “Does Sam like apple?” “Doesn’t Mary dislike fish?” and so on.
3. The student who answers the question writes the sentence on the board. Here the teacher checks how they pronounce the words and how they write the sentences.
