SUBJECT: Classroom Rules
GRADE: 5
TECHNIQUES and METHODS: pointing, p.p.p, defining
context, describing, using actions,giving instructions.
SOURCE and MATERIALS: power point, blackboard
ACQUISITIONS:
1)
Students learn some words about classroom rules.
2)
Students become to be aware of their learning.
3)
Students learn
to practice the words they learned.
LESSON PROCESS
PRESENT
Teacher
has a power point presentation in her hand and it has four words about classroom rules for teach.
These words are ‘ hand, class, run, sleep.’ She found the pictures about these
and firstly show them with power point presentation. For example; she shows a
picture about ‘hand’ and then shows her hand and the students’ also. For
‘class’ ; she shows a picture and try to tell it by defining context such as
‘teacher and students come to class, etc. ’ then she uses describing such as ‘
there are desks, blackboards , students, etc.’ For ‘run’ ; she uses actions and
also describes the opposite such as ‘ I am stopping and I am running.’ And also
shows pictures again. For ‘sleep’ ; she shows pictures, uses actions and
defines context by saying ‘ After I run , I got tired and sleep, etc.’
PRACTICE
After presenting these words, she says the words again and wants them to
repeat after her. Then all together try to write on the air first, then on the
blacboard letter by letter.
PRODUCE
She gives
instructions to them and wants them to show such as ‘Touch Ayşe’s hand, Run
through me , Sleep with your friend, show your class ’ .
