sheep, duck,chicken) and the sounds they make.
Materials:
Flashcards, masks of some words (chickhen, sheep, cow, duck )picture of the
Farm life.
Objectives :
- To teach the sounds of the alphabet with animal sounds.
- To teach the vocabulary of animals.
- To teach the grammar structure related to the unit
Procedure
Before the Song
Before
singing song, teacher asks the children what they know about farms. Have you ever visited a farm? What's your favourite
farm animal?She makes the children sensitive to the topic.
While
Listening to Song
While
singing the song,teacher creates her own gestures. While singing the song, teacher pauses the
music at the part where it says, "What does a cow/horse/pig/etc.
say?" She encourages the students to say, "No!" and give them
the correct answer. Children
listen to the song while miming.She has to "act" the dialogue that is
said in the song.Teacher
illustrates the key vocabulary of song with animal masks.

In
the repeating activity,children repeat after teacher dark sentences.The song is
formed to my topic.
After Listening The Song
After the children
listen to the song several times,the teacher invites them to express their
first reactions and impressions.Then they repeat altogether
Activity
Children form a circle.
One child is in center as "duck,cow,horse..etc". He/She makes a motion while children sing the first
verse. They asks questions and he/she responds. He/she chooses another child to
replace him and takes that person's place in the circle.The game goes on in
this way.
