students’ attention via the two songs.
PRACTICE:
Game 1: Matching Game
Teacher
makes students into two groups. S/he separates the board in two parts and
sticks the cards to the board by mixing. The cards include pets’ names, their
pictures, numbers’ written form and number form. Students open only one card
and close it and they come to the board one by one. Each student has one right

attention to the board because they should memorize and remember the places of
the cards. The group which matches all cards will be the champion.

the number of groups. Then s/he ask them mix words’ letter and write on the
cards. After they finish writing, teacher changes the cards and distributes

Turkish meanings to the back of cards. After that, s/he collects the cards
separately and reads each group’s cards.
S/he also asks if the answer true or false to the owner group of the
card. The group which fixes more than the other groups will be champion.
