-PRACTICE-
ACTIVITY: Find the differences
AIM: Students
will be able to talk about the picture they see and work collaboratively with
their pair
MATERIALS: Difference
pictures
PROCEDURE: Students
work in pairs.
One of them has a picture and the other one has nearly the same picture
with 5 differences
Students do not show their pictures to each other
Firstly one student begins and tells something about his/her picture. For
example “there are three girls”.
The other one takes turn and s/he says “blonde wears skirt” etc.

With talking to each other, they try to find the differences
-PRODUCE-
ACTIVITY: One Minute Talk
AIM: Students will be able to speak
fluently about the clothe item that they pick up
MATERIALS: Cue Cards
PROCEDURE:
Teacher has
the cue cards that have a clothe picture in it
Teacher puts these cards face down,
with perhaps numbers uppermost.
Learners take turns choosing a card.
This card has the clothe item about which
they must speak without stopping for a minute.
(optional:for the young learners
maybe we can reduce the time and make it 30 seconds or we can modify it rather
than talking 1 minute, saying at least 4 sentences about the item etc. It is up
to your choice)
