Aim of this activity is to raise students’ pronunciation awareness. By using colorful flashcards which have the pictures

*Teacher sticks the flashcards which have the pictures of words on the board and pronounces them

Aim of this activity is to make students practice pronunciations of each vocabulary as this activity allows students to use
more than one word thorough prediction. Moreover, this activity allows students
to work collaboratively as there is interaction between students

* Teacher divides students in three groups
* Teacher puts the vocabulary cards in the box
* Teacher picks up a card but he/she doesn’t show it to students
* Groups, one by one, are asked to predict the vocabulary that teacher picked up by using as much as vocabulary they can use
*The group that predicts the vocabulary correctly takes a plus. However, they
have to pronounce it correctly.

Activity: Writing a song
Aim: Aim of this activity is to make
students be able to use the correct pronunciation in a effective
way. Thanks to this activity students can discover their own ways of learning. They
can use this activity for other units, as well.

* Students will be asked to be in groups
* Groups are asked to write their own songs by using the vocabularies with correct pronunciation. The vocabularies they will use are Maths, Science, English, etc.
* After they create their own songs, they will be asked to perform it in front of the class
* Students will decide which song is the best.
