Aims: Meeting friends and be able to introduce
yourself.
To
attract student’s attention and motivate them for learning.
Raising student’s awareness for learning.
Making learning enjoyable and fun.
Students
will be able to make dialog related to how to meet a new friend.
To develop working memory for
speaking.
To raise awareness of students.
Materials:
Puppets
Activities:
Puppet Show,Ask and answer,role play.
Procedure:
1) Teacher enters the class and tells the students that he has a
friend.Then asks all the students . Would you like to know about him? Students
say ‘yessss’. Then Teacher writes these questions to the board.
What is your name ?
What is your surname?
How old are you?
What nationality are you?
Where are you from?
2)After that ; teacher wears the puppet
and wants from the students to ask these questions to the puppet.
3) Students all together ask the
questions ,
Students :
What is your name?
Puppet: My name is Tracy.
Students: What is your surname?
Puppet: My surname is Carroll.
Students: How old are you?
Puppet: l am 10 years old.
Students: What nationality are you?
Puppet: l am lrısh.
Students: Where are you from ?
Puppet: l am from lreland.
4)
Later ;students ask these questions to
eachother.l mean with whom they are sitting they ask these questions to them
and they make up dialog.
5)Lastly
; they play their role in front of the class.l mean they display what they have
done.
