Presentation part :
Activities: Teacher
shows the pictures of related vocabularies with power point.
Aims: To raise
students awareness.
To help
students make links between vocabularies and how to pronounce them by the help
of pictures.
Materials:
Pictures ( by using power point
presentation)
Procedure:
1)
Teacher shows the pictures by the help of power
point.
2)
While showing the pictures, tells them the
vocabularies with correct pronunciation of them.
3)
Teacher wants from the students to repeat the
vocabularies after him.They do that for all pictures and teacher writes these
words to the board.
Practice:
Activities: How do you say……?
Aims: Students practice pronunciation of the vocablaries.
Students teach each other
pronunciation of words and this raise the interaction between them.
This activity helps students to work
in a fun and collaborative way on how to pronounce the words they are learning.
Materials:------
Procedure:
1) Teacher
puts students group of six and gives numbers ‘123456’
2) Teacher
tells the words.For example;teacher tells ‘ apple’ and students try to
pronounce it well by telling each other.
3) Later
teacher picks randomly a number and ask How do you say…..?.For example; Teacher
picks number two and asks this student How do you say bridge?.These students
represent the group and ıf they know they get the point.
4) Then
they repeat with whole class the word.Teachers asks randomly each word to different groups in turn and
finish the activity.
Production:
Activity: Writing sentences with the
words that students have learnt how to pronounce.
Aims: Students use vocabularies and
tell clearly pronunciations of them.
Students discover their own learning style.
Be able to read words correctly.
Materials:---------
Procedure: 1) Teacher wants from the students to
write sentences with the words that they have learnt.
2)
After they create their own sentences, they will be asked to read their
sentences in front of the class.
