Aim
of the activity
·
Students can recognize the names of the family members
and their pictures; hence, they can match them appropriately.

In addition, with the help of this activity, students’
critical thinking can enhance.
Stages
·
Teacher hangs the flashcards and the names of the
family members on the board.
·
In addition, students come to the board in sequence
and match the suitable flashcards with the family members’ names.
·
Thanks to pictures, students can remember the family
members.
b) What is missing?

Aim of the activity
·
Students can be aware of the missing picture and they
can try to remember which picture is missing.
Stages
·
With the help of three students, we can apply this
activity. They show the flashcards to all class.
·
Every time, they don’t show one picture of the family
members.
·
The other students try to decide which picture is
missing.
3)
Produce

Worksheets
Aim of the activity
·
Students can be aware of the writing of family
members’ names.
·
They also produce the meaningful sentences about their
family members such as I have two sisters or I have a grandfather.
Stages
·
Teacher hands out the worksheets to students.
·
Firstly, they make activity by themselves, and then
they change their worksheets with their pairs.
·
With the help of the teacher, students will evaluate
their pairs.
·
Then, they change their worksheets, if they make
wrong, they will recognize their mistakes.
·
At the end of this activity students divide into
groups including 5 students.
·
Then, they ask some questions to each other; for
instance, do you have a sister?
·
They will take notes their friends’ answers.
·
Finally, they
share their friends’ answers to the other students.
