Teaching Song Lesson Plan
Grade: 5

Unit: 1- My Country

Activity: Singing song

Materials: Song about the related topic (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uv1JkBL5728) , a worksheet,



Presentation:

Aims
  - To warm students for the lesson
-           -To develop positive attitude to target language
-          -To make the lesson enjoyable and interesting
-          -To attract students’ attention
-          -To improve pronouncation of students
-          -To teach prouncation and intonation

Procedure:
Teacher enter the clasroom and greet the students. Teacher ask students to ‘have you ever listened song in target language ?, (if yes) what did you listen?’ . And then after listening all answers, he tells the subject of the lesson. ‘Today we will listen a song, i hope all of you love it’. Students listen the song three times.

Practice :

Aims:
-To present familiar language in a new form
-To practice language
-To present new language in a new form
-To memorize chunks and repetitions

Procedure: 
After listening the song, teacher hand out the worksheets to the students. Students try to fill in the blanks. At the end they listen the song last time and check the answers whether it is true or not.

PRODUCTION

Activity: Creating your own song

Aim: To produce new appropriate words and use the language properly.
To encourage students to be more active.

Procedure:
The teacher divides students into groups and wants them to create their own songs. Students can change some words and add some new words. Finally, they share the song each other.
