The students listen to the video and repeat the chuncks like "What is your name? My name is____________."
Practice Part: sequencing and dramatization
Materials: Envelopes and chunks on the papers
The teacher asks the students to work in pairwork and gives envelopes to each group. The groups open the envelopes and sequence the jumbled sentences in the envelopes and then make dialogue. After that, they act out their dialogue.
A: Hello! What is your name?
B: Hi! My name is _______. What is your name?
A: My name is_______. Nice to meet you.
B: Nice to meet you too.
