PRESENTATION

The activity is;
·         storytelling

The objectives are;
·         To become aware of the intonation and pronunciation of the language
·         To develop positive attitudes towards language
·         To make the tudents become personally involved in the story
·         To help the develop their own creative writing

The materials are;
·         Pictures of the animals in the story







The procedure is;
·         First of all, in this story based lesson, before the teacher starts to tell the story, she makes the content accesible to the students, she introduces the main characters in the story.
·         He shows the pictures of the animals in the story and asks them which animals they are.
·         Then, The teacher starts to read the story about the animals named ‘Bremen singers’ after telling them that they will learn a story .
·         The students will hear ‘Do you like … ? or I like….’ Structures.
·         The teacher will be use gesturesimime, facial gestures to help convey the meaning
·         The teacher will encourage the students to take part in the storytelling by repeating the same sentences.
·         She will make them listen to soft music for warming up the atmosphere.


The story is this:



Once upon a time, there is an upset donkey. It is crying. Because it is so hungry. He thinks himself ‘ My owner doesn’t like me. He doesn’t give me any food. I am so hungry. I have to find money or food’ he decides to leave its home and its owner. He goes away.
While it is walking, he comes across a sheep. It is so upset. The donkey comes closer to it and asks ‘ Why are you crying?’ the sheep answers : ‘ My owner doesn’t like me. He doesn’t give me any food. I am so hungry. I have to find money or food. ‘ The donkey says ‘ Don’t worry. Let’s go to Bremen and be singer.

PRACTICE
The activity:
·         Role play/ acting out
The objectives are;
·         To learn how to play roles or how to act out.
·         To be able to practice the Target Language
·         To learn develop the emphathy fort he characters in the story
The materials are;
·         Masks of the animals in the story





The procedure is;
·         The teacher explains to the students what they ill do in this stage, how to act out by saying them ‘ You will act out the story as far as you remember. You can add some parts or exculde some ones. You can do improvisation if you need..’’
·         Then, the students choose four students and give each one the one of the mask of the animals.
·         And the students act oyt the story.
·         If othr students want to act out , they can be chosen and the activity stats again.

 PRODUCTION
The activity is;
·         Creating their own stories about the animals
The objectives are;
·         To be able to produce their own story about the animals
·         To develop their cooperations with other students
·         To be able to wrk cooperatively
·         To be able to use their creativeness by thinking interesting ideas.
The materials are;
·         Four colourful A4 papers which wil be given to the students
The procedure is;
·         The teacher makes explanation about the activity.
·         Then, she divides the class to the groups of four or five students
·         She gives them one colourful paper
·         She starts the soft music and the students start to create their own stories
·         They are given 15 minutes. Then, every group shares their stories with the class.
