Aims: -Students
will revise the basic vocabulary in the related unit such as “ carrot, potato,tomato,milk,etc.” .
-Students will have a
chance to improve the intonation and pronunciation of language while they have
fun.
- Students will develop
their attention span, concentration, memory and listening skills.
Materials : Some
Cushions
Procedure : Students
sit in cushions on the floor of the classroom in a circle way. The teacher
gives a food name to each children and wants them to remember their new names.
Each child’s name is not unique, five children can be “potato”, the other five
can be “carrot”, etc. The teacher
explains the game procedure ;

Now,
we will stand and I will call out some food names. For example, when I call out
“cheese” , the students who has the name “cheese” will change their places with
each other. When I say “ apple”, these students will do the same. Hovewer; if I
say “food salad”, all of you will change
your places in the circle. You are expected to be quick while changing places
and to keep your names in mind. You should listen to me carefully while I’m
calling out the names.
After calling out all of the given names and making the each child
physically active, this funny and motivating game ends.
