AIM:
Students will be able to distinguish have got and has got usage
MATERIALS:
Rotary Table
PROCEDURE:
Teacher comes into the class with carton
doll and it takes students’ attention.
Teacher introduces Sara to the class and
says that that day’s topic is my clothes.
Teacher puts the rotary plate a place
where all the students can see it easily.
Teacher starts to explain each cloth item and she tries to teach “have got has got”.
Teacher shows the pictures on the rotary
table and wants students to repeat after her.
Teacher shows all the pictures on the
rotary plate twice.
- PRACTICE-
ACTIVITY: Let’s dress Sara up
AIM: Students will be able to use proper
sentences and try to hear the ‘dress…’imperatives with a funny exercise.
MATERIALS: Sara the cartoon doll and its
clothes
PROCEDURE:
Teacher
makes sure that all of the students has repeated the cloth item and “have
got-has got” twice, then she starts the grammar activity.
Teacher
puts carton doll Sara on a desk in front of the class.
First
the teacher wants students to tell her what they want Sara to wear.
The
class gives the imperative and the teacher puts the clothes on the carton doll
by this way she shows how it is done.
Firstly
volunteers then each student comes in front of the class, the students give the
imperation and the child puts the cloth that is choosen by the class on Sara. then the students says for ex. "Sara has got a skirt" etc.
The
student who comes near to the carton doll also says what s/he puts on the
carton doll.
-PRODUCE-
ACTIVITY: Let’s go to the shop
AIM: Students will be able to remember the
cloth names and they will have a chance to practice have-has got grammar rule.
MATERIALS:
Paper shopping bags

PROCEDURE:
Students
work in groups of four or five.
They
prepare a dialog.
They
imagine that they are in a shopping mall and shopping.
Each
of them has a shopping bag.
They
work around the class for a while and act as if they are really shopping.
At
the end of the time each group members ask each other “ what do you have? “
s/he answers “I have got…, she has got…”.
In
turn all groups present their dialogs.
