Grade: 4

Language Point: Have got/ has got

General aims: With the help of the story, students can be actively involved in learning process, and thanks to story, we can create comfortable and enjoyable environment for students. In addition, they have a chance to practice.


Goldilocks and the Three Bears
One day, Goldilocks walks in the forest and sings a song. She sees a house. This is three bears' house. They have got a sweet house.
Goldilocks: Oh, what a sweet little house! And she knocks the door.
Goldilocks: Who’s there? Nobody answers. She opens the door and goes in. There are three plates on the table.
Goldilocks: I am hungry. What is this? She eats from the first plate, and she says this is father bear’s meal. And then she eats from mother bear’s meal. Finally she eats from baby bear’s meal.
Goldilocks yawns. She is tired. Three bears have got three chairs.
 Goldilocks: Mother Bear has got big chair. Father bear has got big chair. But baby bear has got small chair. And she sits. But the chair breaks. She goes to the bedroom. There are three beds.
Goldilocks: Mother Bear has got soft bed. Father bear has got hard bed. But baby bear has got small bed. And she goes to sleep. Then tree bears come in the house.
Father bear: Someone ate our meals.
And then, they see the chairs.
Baby bear: My chair is broken.
Three bears go in the bedroom.
Father bear: someone has been sleeping in my bed.
Mother bear: someone has been sleeping in my bed.
Baby bear:  She is sleeping in my bed. She is still there!
Goldilocks wakes up, looks at the bears and screams.
Goldilocks: Help!
Goldilocks goes out the house.
Father bear- mother bear- baby bear: what a bad girl!

1-      Pre- storytelling
Procedure: I will introduce the story. I will ask some questions about the story such as do you know Goldilocks and the Three Bears story?





2-      While- storytelling
Aim: In this activity, I will start to tell my story by heart. And children make sense about the story, so they have an entertaining time thanks to the story.
Procedure: I will start to explain my story. 
                  I will try to act out the story.




3-      Post-storytelling
Materials: Goldilocks and the Three Bears’ power point presentation
Aim: I understand what students learn from the story. They will summarize the story with the help of the presentation of the story. Students will be active, and I will hand out worksheets. They will match the sentences with pictures.
Procedure: Firstly, I will ask questions to students. Then they will do their worksheets. And this activity goes on like this.
