PRESENTATION
Aims are ;
- To learn basic words in unit.
- To learn grammar functions of new vocabulary.
- To learn meaning of the new words,
- To learn pronunciation of new words.
Materials are;
- Presentation
Procedures are;
- The teacher comes to the class and greets the students.
- She tells them that they will learn about farm life, animals , how they are pronounced and what the meaning of the words are.
- She starts the presentation.
- In it, there are pictures of farm animals and names , then the teacher tries to teach the students the names of the animals.
- Then, it is time to give the features of animals. For example; the Picture is pig. The sentence is ‘it likes playing with the mud.
- The students learns both how words are pronunced, what their meanings are and remind like and dislike grammar points.
PRACTICE
Aims are;
- To be able to make the students use what they have learned in practice.
Materials are;
- Animals flashcard.
- Matching pictures with their right words and features.
- After presentation, the teacher starts a practice named ‘ Which animal is it?’
- The animal flashcards are put on the blackboard and their features are also put on the one side of the board, randomly.
- She wants the students to match the pictures with the right features and names.
- Those who are willing to do this practice come to the board and match them.
- The activity goes on like this.
