Each student has a number from one to six. The teacher spells out a word, e.g. L-u-c-k-y L-u-k-e. Each group works together to pronounce it well. Ask one student in each group to say the word. The teacher takes a paper and writes scores the student spells well. At the end of this activity, the teacher announces the race results.
