Cartoon characters pictures, powerpoint presentation
Aims:
1-) Students
will learn information about cartoon characters’ features while using ‘have
got’ and ‘has got’ structures
2-) Students will learn the features of cartoon
characters.
3-) To learn using ‘like’ and ‘dislike’ structure
while making sentences about cartoon characters.
ACTIVITIES
1-)NOTICING
MATERIALS: a powerpoint presentation
AIMS
1-) Students figure out cartoon characters and their
names.
2-) Students will identify the features of cartoon
characters.
3-) they will find out like- likes- don’t like-
doesn’t like structure.
Teacher brings a powepoint presentation that includes
the pictures of cartoon characters. Each character is introduced by the
teacher. For example; teacher asks ‘ do you know him? Do you like bugs bunny?
Etc.
2-) STRUCTURING
MATERIALS: pictures of cartoon characters
AIMS
1-
Students
have a lot of information about grammar structures which are ‘like’ and
‘dislike’, ‘have got’ and ‘has got’, ‘to be’.
2-
When
they discuss features, like and dislike, they learn all of them.
3-
Students
have information about the differences between like and likes – don’t like and
doesn’t like.
Teacher shows
the pictures of cartoon characters. Teacher approaches each student and ask ‘
how are you today? ‘ to make them relax. Then, teacher shows the picture of
cartoon character and asks do you like me? This is repeated many times. Then,
teacher asks other students about their classmates’ opinion. For instance;
ayşe, does Mehmet like Bugs bunny or does your deskmate like tom? And so on.
3-) Proceduralising:
