AIMS;
1-) Learners will
identify how to pronounce the cartoon characters names that they are learning,
2-) they will focus on
correct pronounciation,
3-) they will correct their
mistakes while studying on cartoon characters.
ACTIVITY; For this activity,
students work in pairs. Teacher shows the pictures of cartoon characters such
as; Tom, Jerry, Bugs Bunny, Lucky Luke and so on.. They try to create a short story based on
these pictures. They combine some characters that they like most in their
story. Then, after finishing their writing, they come to the board and tell
their story in front of the class. At the same time, the rest of the class and
the teacher focus on the pronounciation of the words and name of the cartoon
characters. Finally, they discuss what they did, what their mistakes are and so
on.
