 1)PRESENTATION
Materials
Colorful pictures of words related to the topic
Aim of the activity
ü  To draw  students’ attention before the practice part
ü  To give some information about vocabulary items to be learned thanks to these pictures. 
Stages:
ü  The teacher firstly introduces seasons (nouns) and weather conditions (adjectives) with the help of pictures.
ü  She suggests the meaning of the words and pronunciation.
ü  She gives the words in context in order to strength the information of vocabulary items.











2)  PRACTICE

 written forms of the song with gaps

Aim of the Activity:

ü  To help students improve positive attitudes towards the target language in enjoyable and stress-free environment
ü  To reinforce the information of vocabulary items and pronunciation
ü  To improve listening skills through listening the song at least two times
ü  To internalize the seasons and weather conditions with the help of the song through natural and enjoyable repetition.

Stages:

ü  Firstly, the teacher wants students to listen to the song and later, the teacher and students sing the song together . In third time, only students sing the song together and teacher observes them.

ü  After singing the song part, the teacher hands out a written form of the song with gaps for each student. Every student tries to fill in the blanks while the song is playing. At the end of this activity, the teacher and students fill in the blanks together to control how much students are able understand the song. Thanks to this, teachers and students can evaluate their learning process.


3)  PROCEDURALIZE
Aim of the Activity:
ü  To increase students’ own creativeness
ü  To increase pupil-pupil communication
ü  To encourage more creative use of language
Stages:
ü  Pupils are divided into groups incuding 5 or 6 students and they are asked to create their own song related to the seasons and weather conditions. At the end of their preparation, they share and present their song in the classroom and they can select the best song .
