UNIT: SCHOOL LIFE- CLASSROOM RULES

OBJECTIVES:

v  To motivate students to lesson.
v  To make them learn by enjoying.
v  To make them aware of their learning.
v  To make their memory skills develop.
v  To participate all members of the class to lesson process.

GAME: Dice game

PROCEDURE:  The teacher sticks on the board 6 classroom rules and  gives numbers  from 1 to 6 to each of them. Then she shows a rule by acting. For example;  she raises her hand and says that ‘’now, I’m raising my hand, aren’t I ?  and  you see some rules on the board. So,according to these sentences /rules over there, what can you say to me when I do this acting. ‘’Then students try to guess it. Then she describes  the other rules by this way before enters the game. Then, it is time to game and in this game, teacher brings a dice in class and as you know there are numbers in it from 1 to 6. The teacher gives each of the students numbers in an order from 1 to 6. And also she gives numbers to  the rules which are on the board. The game is like that : when the teacher  throw the dice at first, it means the students who are given the number and when she throw it at second time, it means the rules written on the board which are given  the numbers also. For example; firstly she throws  the dice and the number of ‘5’ came, so all the students which are named as 5 come together, and secondly she throws  the dice again and the number  ‘3’ came, this means that all 5’s will act the rule which is named as ‘3’ on the board. This game goes on like that until all students take part and all rules are acted.
