Aims:
ü To motivate students to listen a song from other culture
ü To make them aware that they can learn by the songs
ü To teach some basic vocabulary, prepositions and grammar structure
ü To teach how to cross through Street.
Produce:
Teacher
comes to classroom and greets the students. Then she asks what they are doing
while they cross the Street and after they answer s/he says ‘today we will
listen a song and we will learn how to pass through the Street using
prepositions such as up, down, on and cross and s/he wants them to listen
carefully. They listen firstly without lyrics. Then teacher distributes the
lyric with some blanks and open the song for the second time.
Lyric:
Stop! Look! Listen! Think! Song
Stop! Look! Listen! Think! Everyone
repeat!
Stop! Look! Listen! Think!
When you ………the street! (cross)
Look to the……, look to the …….Look to the
right again (right-left)
Keep on looking right and left, thinking all the
way.
Is it safe to cross the street? Is it safe to

No! Find a place where you can see ….and …….the
road. (up-down)
