LANGUAGE POINT: ‘AM/IS/ARE’ STRUCTURE

 

GAME: WHISPER GAME

AIMS:

Active participation of the students

To motivate the students

Teaching ‘am,is,are’ structure in the chunks

To create a fun atmosphere

Raising student’s awareness for learning.

To help them improve their memory skills

To practice the language in a stress free environment

PROCEDURE

Teacher writes these questions to the board;

 What is your name ?

What is your surname?

How old are you?

What nationality are you?

Where are you from?

After that ;teacher wants from the students to ask these questions to their classmates.One student ask the question and the other answers then student who answers the question asks the same question to another friend of him.They do that for these 5 questions in turn.
