OSMAN TAŞCI
09131066 / 3-B

Class: 4

Unit: 9

Language point: Telling the timetables

Aims: Students will have an ability to combine lyrics with the rhythms. We can also achieve our aim to get them speak. In addition, we can get them to speak without boring them. They will also develop their listening skills. In that case, they both enjoy and listen and speak.

 Time: 5-6 minutes

Activity: In this part, students will watch a video about clocks. In this video there is song about a clock standing on the wall. There are also lyrics in the video. They will watch the video two times so as to become familiar to the rhythms. After watching half of the video, students will sing the rest of the song together because there are only lyrics after the half of the video.

Lyrics:
            There’s a neat little clock,
            In the schoolroom it stands;
            It points to the time
            With its two little hands.
            And may we, like the clock,
            Keep a face clean and bright,
            With hands ever ready
            To do what is right.
