TEACHING SONG

UNIT: PHYSICAL  EDUCATION
GRADE:5
AIMS: To make the students motivate to lesson
            To teach them ‘’can and can’t
            To teach them correct pronunciation
 
Pre-song activity:

Teacher brings some pictures of animals to class before he start to lesson. He tries to understand whether the students know the name of the all animals in the pictures or not. Then he can ask them whether they know ‘’what can they do?’’  .They will share their ideas. Then the teacher goes to next section

Listening to the song:

Students will listen the song without lyrics. Then they will listen again with lyrics. The teacher can stop some part and want them to complete the repetition parts

Post activity:


The teacher tries to understand whether they understand the song or not. He will ask some questions like’’ what can the dog do? What can’t the cat do’’. He can continues this activity until he satisfy with their pronunciation and performance. The teacher can choose two volunteer students to some in front of the class and try to act out what the animal can do and also say the song.
