LION AND MOUSE
A lion was sleeping one day when a
little mouse came along and ran up and down over his face.
This awakened the lion and made him
very angry.He put his paw over the mouse and said’What do you mean by waking
me?You will pay this’.and he opened his big mouth to swallow the mouse.
‘Oh don’t kill me,Mr.Lion!’Squealed
the mouse.’I did not mean to waken you.Do let me go.I can do whatever you want.
‘No I will not let you go’roared
the lion.’You will do my housework.’
‘I do not understand you’said the
mouse.
Lion said ‘You will wash the
dishes.’
‘wash the dishes?’mouse said.
‘yes,wash the dishes’ lion said.
Then ‘you will vacuum the
carpet’The lion roared.
‘Vacuum the carpet?.’mouse said.
‘yes, vacuum the carpet.’
‘But I cant do these.’the mouse
cried.
The lion roared and ‘you will do
these apart from these you will iron the clothes and you will cook for me.’
The mouse accepted these and
started to do.and the lion went for walk.
After some time the lion roared so
loud that mouse heard him.’That lion is in trouble,I should help him’he said
and ran to lion.When the mouse saw that lion was tied with ropes.He said’be quiet
I will set you free’and he began gnawing ropes.He worked long and the lion was
free.after this the lıon releaed the mouse.
The objectives are;
-To check how well they learn the
story
-To check their knowledge of
grammar,houseworks.
-To able to retell the story the
story with their own words
The procedure is;
-the students who are volunteer to
retell the story with his own words
PRODUCTION
The acticity is;
-writing a dıologue between the
characters.(Lion and mouse)
-To develop their cooperations with
other students
-To be able to work cooperatively
-To able to use their creativeness
by thinking interesting ideas
The materials are;
-Lion and mouse masks
The produre is;
-The teacher gives the instrutions
about the activity.He says that they are working in pairs.
-They choose the characters.
-They create a diologue between
them
-They presents the dıologue in
front of the class using the masks.
