GOLDILOCKS AND THE THREE BEARS

LANGUAGE POINT:  Storytelling, there is/ there are and vocabulary of unit.

AIMS: Improving students’ speaking ability and enhance their vocabulary by using a story related to unit.

 MATERIALS:  PowerPoint presentation and a video (video of the story).

PRESENT AND PRACTİCE

            The course starts with the telling of the story. Teacher shows pictures and tells the story effectively at the same time. While telling the story he uses the words and phrases studied before. After telling the story teacher asks students to tell the story from the beginning. For each picture chooses a different student and asks about the part of the story shown on the presentation. Also asks about the objects shown on the picture. Each student takes part and continues the story. During the process teacher observes the learning of students and makes corrections and explanations when needed. At the end of the course, teacher shows the video of the story and if there is any unclear point he explains.
