Unit 1: New Friends

Grammar Point: “is”

Activity: Proceduralizing activity “Puzzle and making a dialogue from the words in the puzzle”

Aim:  helping the learner to reach a stage of making grammar which is ready to be used fluently in communication.

Materials: Puzzle





Procedure:

Firstly, the students find the words in the puzzle “my, what, you, is, name, your” and circle them.

 Secondly, they make a dialogue in pairs by using the words, which are found by the students in the puzzle, and putting their names into the dialogue.

Finally, they act out the dialogue in pairs.

The student A: My name is A. What is your name?

The student B: My name is B.
