HOME SWEET HOME
                Lesson: English / 4th Grade

                Language point: "Pronunciation Teaching"

Materials: A video related to the parts and objects of house.

Aims: My certain objectives are to make my students to remember some objects and parts of home they have learned beforehand, and to teach the words related to house in a funny way.

video:
Presentation: In this part, the teacher shows the video about house objects. While realizing this, he/she makes the students repeat the words they have seen on the video by pausing the video time to time. And later, the teacher writes the words; namely: kitchen, fridge, bathroom, sofa… etc. on board. As a result, students both improve the words they have seen beforehand, and pronounce these words perfectly through exposure.

         bingo game:
Practice: In this part, the teacher makes students do an enjoyable activity. Firstly; he/she makes four groups of students and gives each group different paper called something like bingo. There are six words in each bingo paper. Then, the teacher firstly asks for students to revise the words in the paper, and says that he/she will say many words for them to complete the paper. When students are ready, the teacher reads the words and students deal with that bingo game.
