Language point: Physical Education (Abilities “can”, “can’t”)
Materials: Colorful papers.


NOTICING
Activity: Question and answer
Aims: To make students remind what they learnt in the last lesson
           To prepare students to the game
           To develop physical education
Procedure:
            The teacher enters classroom. She/he says “Hello” and asks “How are you?” Then the teacher says that today we will play a game, but first let me remind what you learnt last lesson.” The teacher also starts to ask questions to students. For example, the teacher asks can you hop? If the answer is “yes”, the student answers “yes I can hop” and hops; if the answer is “no” the student says “no, I can’t hop.” The teacher ends the activity and says now let’s play a game.

STRUCTURING
Activity: Three truths and a lie.
Aims: to involve children in the activity
           To make lesson enjoyable
Procedure:
            The teacher divides the class into four groups. Then the teacher gives each student colorful papers. Then the teacher gives instructions. Students should write four sentences including can and can’t. Students should write three truths about them an write a lie. Each student comes from each group and the other group who finds the lie quickly gets the one point. The group who gets more points wins the game.

PROCEDURALIZING
Activity: What I can do?
Aims: to involve students in the lesson.
           To make lesson memorable
           To make lesson enjoyable
Procedure:
The teacher chooses one of the volunteer students and students come to the board and the class tries to guess what he/she can do. After the activity finishes, the lesson finishes, too.
