ü  To teach how to use “Where is….” and “It is…..” form with using prepositions
ü  To teach “on, in, under, over, between, in front of, behind, next to” prepositions

Materials: Puppet, a video from http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=idJYhjGyWTU

Procedure:  Firstly, teacher brings a puppet in the class and hides it before lesson. When teacher comes to the class, teacher and students try to find the puppet. While they are searching the puppet, teacher use some prepositions such as “Can you look under your desk?” or “May be it is on your left”. After they find the puppet, teacher introduces it to students.
Then teacher shows a video from http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=idJYhjGyWTU This video’s name is “where is the monkey” which is about prepositions. In this video singer use “where is the monkey?” and “It is ….. (e.g. behind the curtain)” form. With this video they’ll see how they can use prepositions and learn their meanings as visual.
After they watch the video, teacher and students make some practices about prepositions with the puppet. For example, teacher puts the puppet on the desk and asks students “Where is Maya?” Then they answer as “it is on the desk” So students notice and become aware of prepositions and their usage.
